Welcome back to Art on the Parish Green, we’re in our 6th year in beautiful and historic downtown New Albany, Indiana. Get ready for the best in handmade fine arts and crafts from many different mediums from artists from all over southern Indiana and greater Louisville, Kentucky area.
Activities during the weekend will include live music featuring Jazz, Bluegrass and some of the old time favorites. Enjoy great food including, cinnamon roasted nuts, favorite summer time festival favorites and frozen treats; and a beer garden with New Albany’s finest beer from The New Albanian Brewing Company
Visitors to the show will get to preview and purchase new and existing works from artists and craftsman who have exhibited at shows such as St. James, Cherokee Triangle, Art in the Arbor, and Chautauqua. There will be carriage rides and children’s activities sponsored by the YMCA of New Albany, including arts, crafts and more! Saturday evening will host a meet and greet with other artists with live music.
The Historical Culbertson Mansion folks will be with us also and have tours throughout Saturday in New Albany’s landmark home!
Weekend schedule includes:
Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Exhibit’s; Food and music until 8:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Exhibits, food and music throughout the day till close.
Tours of our own historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be available through out the weekend. We are celebrating 177 years in New Albany and have the oldest Episcopalian congregation in the State of Indiana. Come and see our beautiful grounds and enjoy a weekend of some of the finest arts, crafts and music in the area and the hospitality of New Albany, one of the friendliest cities in Southern Indiana!
